Care

Check in on neighbors, visit them with gift bags, and be a reliable, friendly face in the community.

Connect

Help residents connect with local churches and other resources like food banks and counseling services

Celebrate

Get creative with community events, from pool parties and cookouts to financial literacy classes

Community engagement

Host weekly Discovery Bible Studies to deepen relationships and foster a sense of belonging

Call others to do the same

Inspire people to join a movement of disciples making disciples

Requirements & Responsibilities

Abide in Jesus daily

Practice consistent prayer and fasting

Adhere to the historical Christian faith

Actively participate in a local church

Communicate with clarity and consistency via text, email, and video calls

Commit 15 hours per week to WayForward

Share the gospel with your neighbors

Host Discovery Bible Studies and invite your neighbors to join

Visit residents door-to-door at your community

Host two community events per month

Report your ministry progress on a weekly basis

Attend one monthly accountability call with your WayForward coach

Represent Jesus and the WayForward ministry with excellence through professional interactions

Live on-site at the apartment community with your ministry teammate (spouse or same-gender friend)

Housing

Every Resident Support Team is compensated with a 2 bed 2 bath apartment unit at their designated partner property.

Events budget

Every Resident Support Team is also provided with a WayForward company card to pay for event food & supplies.

Coaching & training

WayForward equips Resident Support Teams with everything they need to thrive through ongoing training and a Coach to support them along the way.
